 Jacee Cai

Jacee Cai worked for more than 10 years at the global manufacturing company ZF Friedrichshafen AG. She has gained profound Lean experience regarding Shop Floor Management, Layout Planning and Internal Logistic Concept & Optimization. She is qualified in coaching fundamental Lean methods such as 5S, Single Minute Exchange of Die, Value Stream Mapping and line balancing to achieve a standardized working environment.
With the qualification of providing standard TWI-Job Instruction/ Job Method/Job Relationship training, she is specialized in coaching front line team leaders and supervisors. Moreover she worked on projects in the automotive, the aviation and the electronics industry.
Jacee Cai joined Staufen Shanghai in 2015 and is currently working as Project Manager.
 Shaoting Ding
Ding Shaoting has extensive experience and expertise in Lean Management, Lean Manufacturing, Lean Factory Planning, inbound & outbound logistics design/optimization, Supply Chain Management and business process improvement/reengineering. During his career, he has been responsible for many international and domestic Lean projects. For example, he worked with leading German corporations in automotive, machine building, home appliances industries as well as with leading Swedish mining and construction equipment manufacturer. Furthermore, he supported leading French automotive tire manufacturer and middle-sized German and Swiss enterprises.
He has also published several articles regarding Supply Chain Strategy in well-known Chinese magazines.
Ding Shaoting joined Staufen Shanghai in 2016 and is currently working as Associate.
 Denzel Fang

Current and future trainings of this trainer

Denzel Fang has gained an extensive experience in production scheduling during his work as Production Planner for SNIAC in Shenzhen China. Afterwards he was Production and Operation Manager in MMI Group in Shenzhen where he managed operation efficiency. As Lean Production Manager in Danaher Corporation, he established Lean assembly lines with cell production by line balancing analysis, parts presentation and process optimization with a built-in quality check system. As Lean Manager in Flextronics Shanghai he led and boosted the factory Lean journey with the Lean maturity tracker. He identified, selected, deployed and facilitated the Kaizen projects to reach business excellence.
Denzel Fang joined Staufen Shanghai in 2012 and is currently working as Project Manager.
Rene Galbavy majored in Business Administration with emphasis on strategic control, transportation and logistics. Having studied at Tsinghua University in Beijing, he is fluent in Chinese and uses it as a daily working language. Before joining Staufen, he gained extensive Lean experience as a project leader introducing a Kanban system for Liebherr in China. In 2010, he joined Staufen AG and worked on many projects in the areas of Smart Factory Planning, Industry 4.0 as well as Lean Transformation both in direct and indirect areas. He led a team to plan a Smart Factory for a leading Chinese white goods manufacturer, which is now a well-known benchmark factory in China. In his role at Staufen Shanghai he is responsible for the areas of Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0.
Rene Galbavy joined Staufen Shanghai in 2014 and is currently working as Project Manager.
 Andrea Hoefer

Andrea Hoefer has been working as Consultant since 2013. Prior to joining Staufen Shanghai she worked as Consultant for Cost Aviation and Stuttgart Airport. During various projects across Europe, Andrea Hoefer was responsible for rolling out Lean aviation approaches with focus on ground handling operations and resource planning, both in the area of passenger and ramp handling. Andrea Hoefer is experienced in supporting handling companies during tender offers to win handling licenses at targeted airports, in optimizing workforce management and setting up cross-functional CIP structures.
Already during her studies Andrea Hoefer put emphasis on gaining substantial industry experience in aviation. In her roles at Germanwings and Menzies Aviation, she was responsible for the implementation of Lean customer service processes in the area of baggage irregularity handling and supported the optimization of a revenue capture and invoicing system. She further deepened her aviation expertise in her functions with Lufthansa German Airlines and Lufthansa Consulting. Andrea Hoefer joined Staufen Shanghai in 2016 and is now working as Project Manager.
 Zifeng Li

Li Zifeng was born in a family with a long history in the manufacturing industry, owning an automobile clutch factory. Having 8 years of working experience in global manufacturing companies, Mr. Li has very deep knowledge of Production Management and Lean Manufacturing. As Lean Supervisor and Lean Development Manager he was deeply involved in Lean Transformation projects and in the implementation of Lean methodologies and tools. His strength is the definition of comprehensive approaches for the implementation of value adding production systems mainly in Automotive and in Medical and Electronic Appliance industries. As a Project Manager at Staufen, Mr. Li is specialised in 5S, TPM, SMED, VSM, Problem Solving, Shop Floor Management and holistic Lean Transformation projects.
Li Zifeng joined Staufen Shanghai in 2013 and is now working as Project Manager.
 Hank Liao
During his work at SDEC, Hank Liao gained profound knowledge in product technology, mold design and process re-organization of a company branch. At SVW PT he improved supplier quality to ensure flawless production and joined the Polo’s 2006 MY launch. As supplier quality & development team leader at GM China he worked on projects regarding PPM reduction and disturbance-free production. He managed Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), developed supplies with Quality System Basic, Global Manufacturing System and Lean tools. At Staufen China he was involved in projects referring to intelligent plant planning & realization, delivery reliability, supplier development and Lean Production such as Haier intelligent factory planning, Korea Jinyang / Edscha in-house logistic, Romay order fulfilment and quality improvement, Jincheng PPM reduction, Daimler / Schaeffler supplier development with VDA6.3. Furthermore he helped automotive suppliers to implement best supplier characteristics through process optimization and leadership excellence.
Hank Liao joined Staufen Shanghai in 2012 and is currently working as Principal.
 Fern Lu
After studying Business Administration, Lu Fern worked as a Planning Manager and gained extensive experience regarding the setup of a new plant at a Japanese company. During his career, he was promoted to Lean Expert and Assistant of General Manager. Thanks to his profound knowledge in Lean management he became a Lean consultant for a Japanese Management Association Consultancy in China and implemented several tools and principles of the Toyota Production System at a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group.
Within a growth leader development program in 2014 he coached different directors at Shanghai General Motors. Besides Lean Leadership, his core competences are Value Stream Mapping, Total Productive Maintenance, JIT and 5S. In addition to the consulting projects, Fern LU acts as a trainer and coach at Staufen Academy and is responsible for the training of managers and Lean experts.
Lu Fern joined Staufen Shanghai in 2016 and is currently working as Project Manager.
 Yaping Lu

After studying Industrial Engineering and Operation Research at the State University of Pennsylvania, Lu Yaping worked for Cummins Filtration China and Michelin Passenger Tire Company. During her work in different areas such as the electronic, the automotive and the food industry, she gained a deep understanding of Lean Management. As Industrial Engineer, she has profound knowledge in both Capacity Planning and Inventory Management. Moreover, Lu Yaping is familiar in using optimization techniques regarding the production line and assembly line layout, the flow design, the pull principle and the manufacturing productivity. During her work at Staufen Shanghai she has been responsible for several projects regarding Factory Planning, Inventory Management and Lean Administration.
Lu Yaping joined Staufen Shanghai in 2014 and is currently working as Project Manager.
 Anna Lupetto

After her studies Anna Lupetto worked in different functions within the order fulfillment process and designed processes in international cooperation. She also gained profound experience regarding supply chain concepts. Being responsible for the program efficiency und customer satisfaction at Solectron GmbH, she initiated and managed improvement projects on new customer/product introduction, program transfers and supply chains to suppliers as well as customers.
Her core competences are value added excellence in administrative processes focusing on order fulfillment as well as creating concepts and introducing integrated improvement systems.
Anna Lupetto joined Staufen AG in 2010 and is now working as Senior Expert.

After studying Industrial Engineering and Management in Germany, Tobias Monden gained 15 years of leadership and consulting experience covering various areas such as in automotive, aerospace, transportation, manufacturing, energy and sustainable solution industry. During his career, he worked in several management positions in Germany, Czech Republic and China. Following to his previous assignment as Managing Director of MBtech Group China, he was advising clients in improving their operations including strategic positioning as well as structural and operational adjustments in China, Germany and in cross-border projects. Tobias Monden has profound experience in interims management, strategy implementation and turn around management. Moreover, he is a full member of ATTA (Asia turn around and transformation association).
Tobias Monden joined Staufen Shanghai in 2016 as Managing Director.

During his career as Production Engineer at Porsche AG, Michael Oppermann was involved in the organization of new product ramp-ups and the optimization of production processes. He has gained extensive experience in the implementation of Kaizen and Lean Production methods in the automotive sector. As Director of automotive at FAG Kugelfischer, he leads production plants in both Germany and China. With his profound knowledge in TPM, he has managed various projects regarding time reduction methods and approaches to ramp-up a factory in China. Furthermore, Michael Oppermann has worked for Gildemeister AG as General Manager of DMG Shanghai where he led the ramp-up of the factory and increased the production capacity significantly.
Michael Oppermann joined Staufen Shanghai in 2014 as Senior Expert and is currently working as Head of Shenyang.
 Sandy Shen

During her career, Sandy Shen worked on various projects and gained through that profound knowledge in different areas such as the automation, the aviation and the manufacturing industry.
As Senior Expert, Master Coach as well as Senior Trainer, she is well-experienced regarding Lean methods in both the direct and indirect area.
Her main projects are the implementation of Shop Floor Management, Pull Production, Lean Logistics, Lean Order Fulfillment and Lean transformation.
Besides performing qualification programs of Lean Leadership, she is also working on topics referring to Lean Administration.
Sandy Shen joined Staufen Shanghai in 2005 and is currently working as Senior Expert.
 Feikong Wu

Current and future trainings of this trainer

Wu Feikong has gained already during her studies profound knowledge regarding the assessment of performance and the innovation capability of manufacturing companies. During her work at the consultancy Roland Berger, she was involved in several projects on both the strategic and operational level of automotive joint ventures in China. She has focused on the assessment and optimization of factory level processes regarding Supply Chain Management, Logistics Planning and Logistics Optimization.
Thanks to her expertise in Lean Management she is very familiar with the application of Assembly Line Optimization, Layout Planning and Logistics Optimization. Moreover, she is well-experienced in coaching people in Lean Basics and Lean Management to ensure people’s continuous learning process and the process of improvement to achieve higher KPI’s.
Wu Feikong joined Staufen Shanghai in 2013 and is currently working as Associate.
 Haoliang Zhu
After studying Mechanical Engineering in Germany, Zhu Haoliang worked at Shanghai EPEE Co. and Fraunhofer IAO. During his career, he gained over 10 years of experience in the international consultancy business and he was deeply involved in 7 of DAX 30 company projects across different areas such as the planning of Digital Factory, logistics, flow assembly lines, the optimization of production, the implementation of World Class Production System, Shop Floor Management and Value oriented Maintenance (VoM). As Consultant, he has profound knowledge in project management and execution. His customers are mainly from the automotive, the mechanical engineering, the process, the manufacturing, the electronic and furniture industry.
Zhu Haoliang joined Staufen Shanghai in 2017 and is currently working as Principal.
