Staufen AG’s double-digit sales growth / Business consultancy significantly increases the number of employees

January 22, 2019 | Global news, News Germany

Staufen AG can look back on a successful year in 2018 with sales growth of 16%. Meanwhile, 320 employees work for the consulting company. With its international offices, digital subsidiary Neonex and Staufen Academy, the consultancy offers a wide range of support to customers in industry and many other sectors in times of great change.

“We are very pleased with our increase in sales within one year from €56 million to €65 million. For years, we have been growing faster than the market,” says Wilhelm Goschy, CEO of Staufen AG. “Among other things, we owe this extremely positive development to our increasingly successful foreign branches.” The 13 international locations in Europe, Asia and America now account for almost 30% of total sales.

Looking into the future, Staufen AG is extremely optimistic. For this year, the consulting company expects the same level of growth, and the number of employees in the course of the next months to increase to around 380. “We are well prepared for the future. As a consultancy with its roots in Lean Management, we are able to support companies as a professional partner with upcoming projects to increase efficiency, even in a more and more difficult economic environment,” explains the Staufen Board Member.

Many companies are currently in the process of weatherproofing and streamlining their organization. The potential for improving efficiency in a production-related environment lies above all in developing towards becoming a Smart Factory. Staufen subsidiary Neonex, which has been operating on the market since 2016, supports companies along this path. Indirect areas – such as administration, purchasing or finance departments – also bear hidden potential waiting to be exploited. This is achieved with the help of digitization as well as new forms of organization and work.

“The further development of companies towards a learning and adaptable organization will become a key success factor for companies worldwide,” said Staufen CEO Goschy. “We do not focus on putting out fires in the short-term but on sustainable solutions for our customers.” Managing change in times of great transition requires, above all, a entirely new kind of thinking from executives. The Staufen Academy addresses manager’s growing need for orientation and education in times of change and has expanded its program (www.staufen.ag/akademie).

“Our own claim to guide and think ahead for our customers is appreciated,” says the Staufen Board. “In addition, companies value our strategic approach and the work of our experienced consultants.”
